Position: Spa Attendant

Work Location: Chicago, IL 60611

Payrate: $ 21.50/hr

Duration: 3+ Months role with high chances of extension/conversion

Shift: some varied shifts will determine in interview

Job Description:
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all areas in the Chuan Spa, while delivering outstanding customer service. Responsible for the replenishment of products and supplies as specified by the management team. It is imperative that all areas be kept in impeccable condition to achieve Langham's and Forbes' standards.

Responsibilities:
Thoroughly cleans sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, and stalls, vents and/or floors with appropriate cleaning agents. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.

• Reports to work on time and in proper uniform following Clients Spa Dress Codes.
• Report on all issues concerning the Spa, Fitness and Pool areas to Spa management.
• Clean and give proper maintenance to restroom areas of Spa.
• Sweep and mop all flooring, which includes all hard surfaces.
• Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents.
• Provide a clean and organized atmosphere in the spa and adjacent facilities.
• Ensure locker room and sauna cleanliness.
• Keep the pool deck clean, organized and enforce all posted rules and regulations.
  
  
  
  Skills:
• Ability to work alone in an established routine.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to read, write and speak basic English sufficient to understand and communicate with employees and guests.
  
  
  
  Physical demands:
• Stand and walk continuously to a significant degree. Push or pull heavy equipment.
• Physical activities include kneeling, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, walking, reaching, lifting, stretching, grasping.
• Requires repetitive motion of the hands, wrists, shoulders and back with repeated physical activities listed above.
  
  
  
  Experience:
• Prior hotel and spa experience preferred.
