Job Description

ConvergePoint is looking for an Software Sales Executive to manage the company’s sales efforts. On-target earnings for the role are $120K+ with no cap on commissions .

The role requires initial product training during the onboarding period and collaboration among teams. The position requires full-time onsite work at our office location for the first four to six months.

As a Software Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of the sale for an assigned regional territory. The ideal candidate will have experience in reaching out to potential customers, working with inbound leads, and performing initial qualifier calls. This role is an inside sales role and will require the candidate to be able to conduct demos to highlight product value, address questions and concerns, and close sales.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Reach out and prospect with potential B2B customers through phone calls, email, and social media in the assigned regional territory
  • Conduct demos of the software product (training will be provided).
  • Answer questions about product and price. (training will be provided).
  • Prepare proposals to meet the specific needs of the customer within HubSpot.
  • Negotiate and close the sale with prospective customers.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree is required. A degree in business, marketing, or communication is preferred.
  • Must have 1-3 years of sales experience.
  • Software Sales, IT Sales or IT Recruiting experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce or relevant CRM is required
  • Must possess excellent technical skills and be comfortable with using web technologies
  • Industry knowledge, specifically in technology or software is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently
  • Must be local to Houston or willing to relocate
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
