Job Details

We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about data. As our company grows, so do our data opportunities and challenges.

Responsibilities
- Develop backend components for various user-facing features on the core platform.
- Enhance platform architecture and data models to ensure a high-performance, reliable user experience.
- Create and maintain systems for efficient data collection, processing, storage, and retrieval.
- Improve analytics, monitoring, and alert systems to promptly detect and address operational issues.
- Ensure all systems are highly observable, reliable, scalable, and automated.
- Design data solutions that support multiple sources, including the platform and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and integrate data workflows.

Requirements
- 6 or more years of experience as a Software Engineer with a track record of building and shipping high quality products and features
- Strong backend experience with a focus Microservices, APIs, and data platforms.
- Expertise in designing systems for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Passion for making data systems observable and highly automated.

Big Plus: Experience building data infrastructure from scratch at a fast-growing startup with an understanding of data modeling, ontologies, and knowledge graphs.
