Hittle is seeking a Senior Field Manager for our Irrigation Division who is a strong leader with an entrepreneurial and ambitious mindset to lead our crews. • Lead from the field: Manage day-to-day operations for multiple irrigation crews, keeping safety, quality, and timelines front and center.
• Be the go-to expert: Troubleshoot complex irrigation issues, from wiring and controllers to pressure and hydraulics.
• Keep things moving: Schedule crews, coordinate equipment and materials, and ensure jobs stay on track.
• Support and grow your team: Train and coach team members, hold them accountable, and help them advance in their careers.
• Be the bridge: Communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and internal teams to keep expectations aligned.
• Own the details: Track materials, labor hours, and progress reports to help us stay efficient and profitable.
• Audit and improve: Visit sites regularly to ensure systems are running efficiently and meet high-quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of hands-on irrigation experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
• Solid knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and installation practices
• Ability to read irrigation and landscape plans
• Backflow Certification (or ability to get one within 90 days)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Comfortable using mobile apps and irrigation controller tech
