Senior General Superintendent needed for brand new ground-up mixed-use Luxury Residential rentals in Broward County, FL

Amazing opportunity for experienced Senior General Superintendent for a Mixed-Use 300 Unit, 22 story leased Luxury Residential rentals in Broward County, FL The project also consists of trail-blazing amenities which includes shopping, retail stores, and restaurants, all within walking distance. Must have experience with Mixed-Usel Hi-Rise buildings consisting of 22+ stories and above

 

The Senior General Superintendent for Luxury Residential Hi-Rise Property Developer must have the following qualifications:

• Experience in the day-to-day operations on the Construction Site and control short term schedules, and supervise on-site construction
• The Role of the Senior General Superintendent also includes important quality control and subcontractor coordination responsibilities
• Must have a minimum of 10 years Luxury Residential Senior General Superintendent Hi-rise Mixed-Use ground-up management experience with buildings of 22+ stories
• Must have Pile foundation, shell work, and MEP experience
• Project also includes a 6 story over ground parking garage, with retail stores on the ground floor.
• Microsoft Project, Word and Excel experience required
• Responsible for R.FI.’s: Detailed print interpretations, “architecturals”, “submittals”, “shop drawings”, “as builts” and revisions as requested between architect, structural engineers and management
• Detail oriented, great multi-tasker
• Effectively resolve laborer disputes and personnel problems
• Must be committed to strive to deliver the highest quality service to the clients
• Must be able manage between 5 to 30 laborers each day of varying trades

 

The Senior General Superintendent’s Day to Day operations include but are not limited:

• Reports to the Senior Project Manager and VP of Construction
• Prepare bids and estimates.
• Purchasing
• Participate in both management and safety compliance meetings
• Assist in the preparation of monthly requisitions for the allocations of funds
• Initiate permit acquisitions via “ Expeditors “
• Generate daily field reports, look-a-heads, and schedules, Blue Prints
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and generate reports.
• Conflict resolution associated with discrepancies in design and implementation
• Schedule inspections for trades (by independent inspection firms as per Broward County protocol)
• Prepare Logs
• Over all site trouble shooting
• Coordinate weekly meetings of trades and management, and schedule on site security
• Examined and inspected work progress, equipment and construction site to verify safety and insure that conditions were met.
• Ensured compliance with local building codes, permit requirements and safety regulations
