The position offers the flexibility of a Hybrid work environment between home and office.

In this role, contributions to the mission include:
  • Key participant in the creation of budgets, forecasts, and analysis for headquarters functions within General Dynamics IT using our Oracle ERP and Hyperion data warehouse.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting at the department and general ledger detail level to ensure costs are controlled and properly accounted for.
  • Identify, Track, Manage, and Report financial risks.
  • Assist with the planning and forecasting of capital expenditures.
  • Responsible for labor reporting and time-keeping compliance.
  • Provide advice and consultative support to the functional organizations you support.
  • Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as FAR, CAS, SOX and other government regulations. Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Participation in development of dashboards using Tableau.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of related industry experience; OR 9+ years experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and/or complex modeling.
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are a must.
  • Service mentality: Actively engage with the supported organizations and take personal responsibility for customer satisfaction and generating value added solutions.
  • Critical Thinking, Problem Resolution: Makes sound business decisions when faced with complex tasks and new challenges. Uses knowledge of industry and company objectives in recommending course of action. Ability to anticipate and correct problems at an early stage.
  • Ability to produce high quality, error free work product.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with government contracting highly preferred
  • Previous experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and Oracle Business Intelligence are also preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus

The likely salary range for this position is $76,690 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
