As a Senior Product Engineer, you will be a critical part of our engineering team, playing a key role in the design, development, and optimization of our innovative Refrigeration products. You will work closely with various cross-functional teams, including research and development, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure the successful launch of new products and the continuous improvement of existing ones. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's success and growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design and development of new products, utilizing your expertise in mechanical engineering and CAD software.
2. Utilize Creo and Windchill to create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring that all designs meet company standards and customer requirements.
3. Conduct rigorous testing of products using test equipment and measurement instrumentation to verify performance and reliability.
4. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to streamline production processes, implement design changes, and resolve any technical issues.
5. Provide technical support to the sales and marketing teams, assisting with product presentations, customer inquiries, and market research.
6. Continuously monitor and analyze product performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement necessary design modifications.
7. Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing your technical knowledge and fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Refrigeration product engineering, preferably in the engineering industry.
3. Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Creo and Windchill.
4. Extensive experience with test equipment and measurement instrumentation.
5. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and quality control methods.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to a variety of audiences.
9. A proactive and innovative approach to work, with a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
