What You Will Do:

Developing software that enhances economic and environmental sustainability for businesses by digitally revolutionizing the supply chain. As an AI Engineer, you will pioneer advancements in logistics optimization, supply forecasting, and demand forecasting.

As a Senior AI Engineer, this role demands a highly entrepreneurial mindset, requiring individuals who can grasp the full scope of business challenges and deliver comprehensive solutions.

Approximately 80% of your work will involve software engineering and 20% data science. You will utilize Go, TensorFlow, PostgreSQL, and various Google Cloud Platform tools to create the core intelligence of our platform. Your responsibilities will include:

• Applying both mechanistic, bottom-up thinking and statistical, top-down methodologies to solve problems.
• Enhancing the intelligence behind logistics simulations and market optimization algorithms.
• Developing innovative mechanisms to optimize the supply chain.
• Deploying models to forecast commodity demand at logistics nodes, supply availability, estimated arrival times, delays, and more.

What You will Bring:

• An advanced degree in a quantitative field and 5 years of experience in a similar environment
• Strong capability to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly solve problems.
• Experience with at least one machine learning framework, such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
• Proven proficiency in designing and implementing AI tools using Go.
• Extensive expertise in developing solutions that involve algorithms, optimization, reinforcement learning, artificial neural networks, discrete event simulation, and case-based reasoning.
• Knowledge of function/path optimization and common algorithms, including linear programming, BOBYQA, A* Search, and simulated annealing
