About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Advisor for State and Local Government Affairs to play a pivotal role in leading strategic initiatives that enhance the understanding and engagement of its programs, with a focus on municipal-level elected officials. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining productive relationships with New Jersey's elected officials and municipal governments, driving outreach that aligns with the company's mission, and executing events to promote its economic development goals. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in a government or nonprofit setting, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The role demands a candidate with strong technical and soft skills, including the ability to multitask, manage time-sensitive deliverables, and demonstrate a commitment to achieving goals. The Senior Advisor will be expected to have a proven track record in policy analysis, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships to advance shared objectives. The position is highly autonomous, requiring the ability to work independently and manage various tasks simultaneously.
