Job Description

This position is within Space Engineering and will be located in Glendale, AZ. The position is within the team developing the Carbon Dioxide Removal by Ionic Liquid System (CDRILS), a life support system for space and terrestrial applications, and other technologies that make it possible to live and breathe. This role will be the technical lead for all aspects (design, build and test) of a CDRILS qualification unit and contribute technically to Honeywell's Environmental Controls and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) product line. The successful candidate will work closely with a large cross-functional and cross-site team (including program management, advanced technology, engineering, and business development) as well as with customer design teams. Key Responsibilities + Become a technical expert for CDRILS and oversee all aspects of system qualification + Develop, decompose and manage requirements and V&V process + Become highly knowledgeable in other ECLSS technologies for future road mapping U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
