Self-Direction DSP- Syracuse- University area
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a polite, friendly teenager who enjoys listening to music, spending time with animals, creative writing and performing in local theatre groups. In this role, you will help her become more involved in community events and will help her learn skills to become more independent. She is interested in learning how to cook, budgeting, learning how to use public transportation and would like to find a volunteer opportunity. She is seeking a friendly and reliable individual to explore new activities with and who will support her in learning new skills. Please respond with a resume or summary of experience.
Hours and Days of work :
The schedule would be 3-4 hours on Saturday. Specific hours could be flexible and worked out with the family upon hire.
Payrate:
$21.00 per hour. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Location: Syracuse, NY
Qualifications:
All new hires must complete a five hour initial training. The pay rate for the initial training is $16.50/hour.
