As a Security Officer - Hotel Concierge in Charleston, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading hotel and resort location, you will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional presence. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access to the property, verifying credentials, and assisting guests with inquiries, all while maintaining a calm and approachable demeanor. You will help to deter security-related incidents by remaining attentive and visible at the front desk, responding promptly to any concerns, and communicating clearly with both guests and staff. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people and thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Communicate professionally with guests, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal guidelines and site-specific instructions.
• Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
