Job Description The Scale Operator is responsible for diligently and accurately weighing products to customer specification and maintaining superior quality for assigned area. Must be detail oriented must possess the ability to document/ communicate clearly with department lead and/ or supervisor as well as with upper management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Enter data using keyboard, ability to operate production equipment as well as office equipment (i.e. Fax machine, copier, 10 key-calculator, scale, computer, email).
• Accurate completion of paperwork with neatness and timeliness
• Ability to read and understand English in order to be able to identify items on paperwork.
• Conducts self with high professionalism with supervisors and associates and can clearly and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to analyze and calculate data using basic math skills. (i.e. subtraction, addition, multiplication, division)
• Must have the availability to work assigned hours including overtime and some weekends required.
• Additional Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency, with regards to time as well as resources.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities • General mathematical ability required to perform job
• Should possess the ability to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends
