SAP R2R Architect (GL, AP, AR, AA, and financial reporting.)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP R2R (Record to Report) Architect with a strong financial background & to join our team for a long-term project in Carlsbad, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP R2R modules and a deep understanding of financial processes, ensuring the seamless integration of financial data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of & SAP R2R solutions .
• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into SAP R2R functionalities.
• Ensure the accurate integration of financial data across all relevant SAP modules.
• Provide expertise in financial reporting, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable , and asset accounting.
• Design and implement best practices for financial data management, reporting, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the SAP R2R processes.
• Guide and mentor junior team members and stakeholders on SAP R2R processes.
• Work closely with& Viasat's internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• 14+ years of experience in SAP, with a focus on SAP R2R (Record to Report).
• Strong financial background with deep expertise in financial processes and accounting.
• Proven experience in leading SAP R2R implementations in large organizations.
• Excellent knowledge of financial modules including GL, AP, AR, AA, and financial reporting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the project.
