POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Outfitter - Firearms is responsible for maintaining Counter Sales and Customer Service for Firearms, as well as Floor and Counter Sales of other Hunting Merchandise. Responsibilities include greeting and acknowledging customers promptly, handling merchandise carefully, and providing information and assistance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs, making recommendations, and promoting programs such as CLUB membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup. Ensure 4473 Forms are completed thoroughly and accurately. Demonstrate products to customers as needed. Organize and maintain merchandise, replenish stock, and stay knowledgeable about products and sales. Assist with seasonal merchandise moves and keep the work area clean and stocked. Follow all company policies and perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 0-2 years of retail experience. Must be 21 years or older.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

Knowledge of firearms and ammunition, including ATF regulations. Experience in customer service and sales related to firearms and ammunition. Ability to merchandise and stock products effectively.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Stand and walk constantly, occasionally ascend/descend ladders, communicate with others, and operate machinery or vehicles. Lift objects up to 20 pounds constantly and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. Work in confined spaces and noisy environments as needed.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

Performs tasks under general supervision, using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment for problem-solving and recommendations.
