A bit about us: We are currently seeking a Safety Manager for our fast-paced manufacturing environment. The individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. The Safety Manager will play a key role in maintaining compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and other applicable safety standards. Job Details Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the company's safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.
- Lead and conduct regular EHS audits to assess the effectiveness of EHS policies and programs, and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement EHS training programs for all employees to enhance safety awareness and culture.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to occupational health and safety, including OSHA.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and develop preventative measures.
- Collaborate with management and staff to promote a proactive approach to safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, safety violations, and corrective actions.
- Stay current with the latest developments in industrial safety, health, and environmental science.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in safety management within the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS policies, safety management, OSHA compliance, and workplace safety.
- Proven experience conducting EHS audits, risk assessments, and safety training programs.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
- Ability to identify and control occupational health, safety, and environmental risks.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
