The Rope Access Level III will perform and/or assist NDT Technicians in performing non-destructive Testing of materials.

Job Duties:

• Full responsibility for planning and execution of rope access operations.
• Develop, rig, and oversee complex rope access systems.
• Perform rescue planning and execute any rescue scenario.
• Lead safety briefings and site inductions.
• Carry out equipment inspections (including others' gear).
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Manage emergency response and first aid if necessary.
• Act as the highest authority on site for rope access issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License and pre-access drug and alcohol testing required.
• Valid TWIC card required.
• Pre-employment background checks will be required.
• 40hr Radiation Safety Training required.
• Current SPRAT and/or IRATA certification considered an asset
• Radiographer state card will be considered an asset.
• NDT training and experience will be considered an asset.
• NCCER Insulator certifications will be considered an asset.

Physical Requirements:

• Move, carry, and lift objects 50 lbs. or more.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb.
• Must be able to demonstrate all skills and knowledge required of Rope Access Level I Technician.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

This position may work in various locations within the U.S. Some locations may be subject to extreme temperatures, working in high places, etc. Potential for exposure to temperature changes, wetness, confined spaces, fumes/odors, working with ladder/scaffolds, working with pressurized equipment, high places, hazardous materials, and working alone. HMT will supply adequate training and equipment to meet the functions of the job.
