Independent Sales Representative (IBO) - Roofing, Siding & Gutters

✅ Location: Elgin, Illinois (Serving Various Territories)
✅ Employment Type: Independent Sub-Contractor Sales Representative (1099)

We work directly with homeowners and partner closely with our in-house Public Adjuster to ensure smooth handling of insurance claims from start to finish.

As an IBO Sales Representative , you aren’t just a sales agent — you are an Independent Business Owner driving your own success with the full support, brand, and resources of Midwest Elite Exteriors .

Primary Responsibilities

• Prospect, Canvas & Generate Leads – Knock doors, blitz neighborhoods, network, and work both self-generated and company-provided leads .
• Client Relationship Management – Be the face of Midwest Elite Exteriors , educating homeowners about the insurance claim process , project timelines, and restoration solutions.
• Documentation & Inspections – Photograph and document roof, siding, gutter, and other exterior conditions for accurate claim processing.
• Insurance Coordination – Work directly with our in-house Public Adjuster and insurance companies to advocate for full coverage and ensure proper claim handling.
• Project Oversight – Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely and quality project completion .

What You Need to Succeed

✅ Experience in Exterior Restoration, Roofing, Siding, Gutters, or Storm Restoration is Preferred, but NOT Required.
✅ Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented – The most successful IBOs are driven to knock doors, follow up on leads, and own their success .
✅ Honesty & Integrity – Our brand reputation is everything, and you must operate with the highest level of honesty and professionalism .
✅ Valid Driver’s License & Insurability Required – You must be able to qualify for coverage to use a company-branded vehicle.
✅ Comfortable Managing Your Own Schedule – This isn’t a 9-to-5. Successful reps work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed .
✅ English Preferred (Not Required) – Strong English skills are helpful, but our office staff can assist in most situations .
✅ Spanish Preferred (Not Required) – Being bilingual can expand your market reach, but it’s not required .
✅ Bilingual Highly Desired (English & Spanish)
✅ Tech Savvy – Basic smartphone, photo documentation, and email skills are required to stay organized and communicate effectively .

Important Requirements

• Must sign and adhere to the IBO Agreement , which is renewed annually for qualifying re-applicants who fulfill their contract commitments.
• Must follow company branding standards, operational procedures, and guidelines for using company-branded vehicles .
• Attendance at mandatory company meetings is required to stay aligned with current processes and expectations .
