$4 Shift differential (2 nd shift & evenings), $1 shift differential (weekends)

Department/Unit Summary
Our postpartum/nursery unit has 11 rooms with a 1:6 (3 couplets) patient ratio . Our nurses in this department care for postpartum moms, newborns, post op GYN patients, and occasional a ntepartum patients ( such as h yperemesis or p yelonephritis ) . Additionally, these nurses attend deliveries, provide 1:1 care for infants requiring additional support and prepare infants for transfer when a higher level of care is required .

Qualifications:Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school ( Bachelor’s degree preferred). Additional requirements include:
American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Experience in clinical area preferred
