Job Description
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: To seamlessly support all warehouse operations, processes and procedures aligned with executing and maintaining the flow of merchandise from intake to the guest for all Space Needle and CGG retail locations and non-retail departments utilizing the Warehouse's resources. To support the company's vision, goals and initiatives while displaying a guest centric attitude in all interactions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Utilize all reports provided by Management to pull, transfer, and stock product as required in a highly accurate and efficient manner. Stock to be on warehouse shelves within 24-48 hours upon receiving. Ensure that all receipts, transfers and invoices are accurately processed and checked in.
Cover areas of the operation as business demand requires and maintain a high degree of flexibility for short notice staffing deficiencies. This includes all Space Needle and CGG properties.
Ability to set individual goals daily when completing tasks, and have the inner drive to seek out new projects without the need of supervision or constant direction from management.
Maintain Art Inventory logs to keep levels current at all time. Ensure communication with Chihuly workshop for pickups, shipments and art movement
Actively participate with Warehouse operations receiving shipments, accurately counting, ticket and staging of received merchandise.
Assist with receiving in merchandise accurately (Print P.O., count product in to packing list, enter in completed order to on line systems)
Print and track all vendor current and overdue invoices, responsible for matching and rectifying shipment invoices for quantity and cost discrepancies and to follow up with vendor for updated invoice if needed. Match and combine invoices to P.O. and file to be coded and processed to finance.
Assist with Retail operation invoicing - making sure monthly accruals are accurate
Assist with zero and cycle counts weekly and monthly to keep inventory to standards
Assist with online business printing orders, pulling product, shipping and customer service. Ship orders daily with a sense of urgency while determining most cost effective shipping methods.
Write up and process out of system any damaged merchandise from stores, go through store damaged merchandise weekly and salvage any resell able items. Partner with Buyers and vendors of any large consistent manufacturing errors to seek credit or replacement.
Organize, prepare and participate in physical inventories for all retail locations
Any other job functions related to Retail or Warehouse operations as defined by Management
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Adhere to all security, control and safety procedures established by organization. Knowledge of the Fire/Life/Safety procedures
Ability to work special events, full time, weekends, holidays and cover open shifts
Document and place all damages according to set procedures. Assist the inventory specialist when needed with the damages and disposal of said merchandise
Maintain competent working knowledge of the Point of Sales Systems and all other relevant software at the Warehouse as well as Retail and Admissions locations
Maintain a high degree of communication with the management team
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Experience working in high volume, fast paced retail warehouse environment
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance. Able to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in the English language, able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Must demonstrate a "Guest First" attitude at all times. Transforming moments for those within, and outside of the Space Needle
Technologically savvy, and computer literate
Have the capability and a valid driver's license to drive the Company Van
Able to multi-task and complete projects with deadlines
Full Time, Hourly Position
Hourly Rate: $20.50 - $20.50 / hour
