Job Description

• Assist research analyst(s) in selecting and evaluating companies that are candidates for investment recommendations.
• Assist analyst(s) in preparing reports, financial analyses, and forecasts on potentially promising investment ideas that may be included in various Research Department publications.
• Travel, periodically, to visit the senior management members of companies who are potential candidates for Research Department coverage.
• Disseminate information on publications of assigned companies which are distributed internally, to clients and to the public.
• Communicate investment recommendations and updates on existing recommendations to sales professionals through oral presentations and assist them in communicating the recommendations to their clients.
• Conduct financial modeling and analysis. Prepare earnings forecast, evaluate balance sheets and cash flow.
• Valuation of equity securities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor's degree required. Preferred degree fields include Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.MBA preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a finance and accounting and/or a research capacity preferred,
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

• SIE - Securities Industry Essentials
• Series 7 - General Securities Representative
• Series 66 - Uniform Combined State Law
• Series 86 and 87 - Research Analyst
• CFA Desired
