Job Description

We’re launching a new IP and looking for our  Lead Artist . This is a freelance project starting at roughly 200 hours of work but we plan on it being an ongoing position for years to come.

The project's genre is a blend of DND and GTA, while its visual style will be a blend of Arcane and the works of Yoshiaki Kawajiri.  Take a look at our mood board (the images are of a variety of styles but they each capture some element of what we're aiming for). This project is going to be epic.

Responsibilities

• Concept art: working with our Art Director you will set the look and feel of this world.
• Illustration: you will render various scenes from the web novel.

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

• High quality portfolio
• Excellent knowledge of 2D art and related software
• Able to depict motion (speed lines, blur, perspective etc.)
• Able to deliver results reasonably fast
• English proficiency
• Positive attitude

Will be a plus

• Able to turn still illustrations into minor animations.  See an example here .
• Experience with sequential art (comics, manga, storyboarding etc.)
• Passion for the fantasy and crime genres.
• Enjoys reading novels.
