Novant Health is hiring for a Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab registered nurse for the day shift for our Scotts Hill Medical Center location in Wilmington, North Carolina.

About the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab department:

We’re seeking a registered nurse to join our Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab team! You will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the cardiology department. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patients' responses to treatments. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you will support diagnostic procedures, educate patients and their families, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
• BLS certification required.
• One-year relevant or adjacent experience preferred.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

• Prepare patients for non-invasive diagnostic procedures such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and Holter monitoring.
• Assists and educates patients undergoing diagnostic procedures/testing of the heart.
• Provide education to patients and their families about heart health, disease management, and lifestyle modifications.
• Work closely with cardiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cardiac care.
