Responsibilities
Through a servant leadership approach and by leveraging years of industry experience and success, the Market Nurse Consultant is responsible for modeling the Genesis clinical outcome and capability standards while on-site and providing direct guidance and relief to Director of Nursing and nursing center teams that position the Market for clinical performance achievement.
- Enhance and innovate nursing center-level clinical outcomes and capabilities to position the market for clinical performance achievement and competitive differentiation.
- Identify needs of market nursing centers to provide training strategies and develop QAPI plans to exceed clinical outcome goals and initiatives.
- Integrate with all market level support team members to position care outcomes consistent with industry standards and to meet market needs.
- Encourage and pursue interaction with center and market leaders to effectively deploy clinical support efforts that strategically support individual nursing centers, special projects, and clinical initiatives within the market.
- Engage in multi-directional communications to support clinical objectives and priorities.
- Strategically and tactically partner with Directors of Nursing to assist nursing center level leadership teams when they are challenged or require additional clinical support.
- Identify clinical innovation and education opportunities and support nursing centers with the execution of specific clinical objectives.
- Work side-by-side with assigned nursing centers when a significant event occurs and as needed.
- Detect clinical capability opportunities to coordinate necessary resources for support and ensure Directors of Nursing share accountability in clinical skillset development.
- Establish a framework for information share between Market Directors of Nursing and others to encourage collaborative utilization of resources, tools, and best practices.
- Provide on-site support as necessary before, during, and after survey and works side-by-side at assigned centers to assist in the development and execution of Plans of Correction.
Qualifications
- RN, Bachelor's Degree required.
- Must be licensed in all states within the market.
- Experience as a Director of Nursing in a long term care facility is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of long term care required

Posted Salary Range
