OVERVIEW

Hughes Commercial Realty Group is searching for a Marketing & Administration Coordinator to join our Edmonton commercial brokerage office. This role includes daily marketing/design services and commercial real estate administrative support.

As a Marketing & Administration Coordinator, you will provide marketing, design services, and research support, along with general office administration, to the brokerage. Your responsibilities will be an exciting mix of providing professional presentations, property brochure design, social media marketing, conducting market research, and general commercial real estate administration for our Edmonton office.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the commercial real estate industry within the marketing sector or have commercial administration experience.

This ideal role is suited for someone who is passionate about marketing and commercial real estate and whose preference is to have a successful career in a marketing and administrative capacity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities of a Marketing & Administration Coordinator include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist in creating, organizing, preparing and producing client-specific packages, presentations, and Proposals using Adobe & Microsoft programs (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Powerpoint)
  • Assist with preparation, coordination, and assembly of marketing materials for property listings, including brochures, email communications, invitations, signage, monthly listings summaries and announcements
  • Update listings on our website platforms as required
  • Create and execute social media strategies and plans
  • Conduct market information research for market reports through various sources, including CRM and third-party databases
  • Work closely with the Broker/Owner, Associate Broker, Brokerage Operations Manager and Associates on various initiatives and special projects
  • Coordinating Brokerage meetings and appointments if required
  • Proofreading commercial real estate documents for spelling, grammar and layout making appropriate changes, being responsible of accuracy and clarity of final copies
  • Provide administrative support for internal and external correspondence including file management, scanning, photocopying, organizing and distributing marketing materials

 

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential task at an above average level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:

  • Minimum 2 years of commercial real estate marketing and administration experience
  • Advanced knowledge and efficient use of business suite computer programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite/Drive, Adobe (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • AI efficient and able to learn and continuously apply new applications
  • Possess characteristic traits of independent thinking, self-starting initiative while working well in a team-oriented environment
  • Must be able to handle flexibility in task management while having a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret and create general business documentation
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and format presentations
  • Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills on phone and emails
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills on crucial documentation
  • Ability to multitask, utilize effective time management skills, and be able to recognize and respond to time sensitive issues and tasks
  • Ability to work efficiently with multiple timelines and with limited direction/ supervision
  • Flexibility to meet deadlines or respond to work emergencies, if required outside of normal business hours
  • Ability to maintain discretion regarding personnel and industry-related matters
  • Positive attitude, always seeking to better yourself, your team, consistently reaching out to bring value.
  • Must have own transportation and valid driver’s license
