We’re currently seeking a Real Estate Acquisition Manager to join our Headquarters team!

The Real Estate Manager is directly responsible for negotiating and executing land purchases with property owners and brokers while also working with civil and architectural vendors to manage the permitting process. This position requires a creative, forward-thinking, energetic individual with superior written and verbal communication. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who demonstrates a high level of passion and can communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

We're open to hiring candidates based in major metropolitan areas, including Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, SE Florida, Atlanta, and Salt Lake City, UT.

What you will do:

• Manage deals from the start of site identification to opening by overseeing internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform site, demographic and competitive research for market development plans for short and long-term forecasting.
• Negotiate business terms and deal structure for the LOI while also overseeing the execution of contracts for land acquisition.
• Create proforma and financial modeling to ensure the development meets Mister’s investment thesis.
• Assemble all information necessary to obtain Regional Ops and Real Estate Committee Approval.
• Stay informed of real estate market dynamics, trends, and opportunities by establishing and maintaining relationships with brokers, landlords and municipality officials.
• Provide necessary direction and support for issues related to rezoning, variances, and other issues.
• Represent Mister Car Wash in industry settings, such as the local ICSC events.

How you will shine:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ similar Real Estate Management experience, working within a successful stand-alone multi-unit retailer.
• Strong and tactful influencing and negotiation capability.
• A broad set of skills, including a keen sense of strategic thinking, courage and decisiveness to act.
• Superior written and verbal communication.
• Solid project management skills with excellent judgment and a strong business focus.
• Ability to manage real estate information in a confidential and professional manner.
• A self-driven outgoing, energetic and passionate personality.
• The ability to travel nationally – 50% travel required.
