About the job

As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role as Real Estate and Facility Manager. You will have the opportunity to create a better work environment and a smaller footprint for our company, contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization. Currently, this is a Hybrid opportunity located in Richmond, Virginia.

As Real Estate and Facilities Manager, you will:
  • Play a key role in new building projects and in modifications of existing facilities as well as when we are entering into lease agreements.
  • Have an overall responsibility for maintenance of sites and buildings and evaluations of sites. This includes forecasting and long-term planning. It also includes maintaining relationships with suppliers.
  • Assists in acquisitions and real estate investments.
  • Maintain good relationship with relevant government authorities
  • Together with other site managers in the group develop the sites' buildings, infrastructure, ancillary relevant and outdoor areas and to create an attractive working environment.
  • Coordinate work with site managers to reduce energy, water consumption, and emission.
  • Be responsible for security plans around US sites and work with Group Security to ensure safety and security.
  • Collaborate with relevant members of the US management team regarding site issues
You will also be site manager for our Richmond site, an active member of the facility committee and actively involved in all site related decisions.

What you know:

You have a bachelor's degree in business or engineering or similar with minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, and:
  • Experience with project management and with projects to sell, lease and buy real estate
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well with individuals throughout all areas and levels of the company

You should have experience from similar roles in the manufacturing industry and be able to travel between our sites in the US
