Real Estate Associate (Junior to Mid-Level)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)
Time Type: Full-Time

Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm in the search for a 2nd to 4th year Associate to join its Real Estate Practice in San Francisco. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of commercial real estate matters for clients across industries in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle commercial real estate transactions , including acquisitions, dispositions, real estate finance, joint ventures, and development projects.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate agreements and related documents .

  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients on transaction structuring and deal execution.

  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and provide guidance on real estate matters.

Qualifications:
  • 2–4 years of experience in commercial real estate law; large firm experience preferred.

  • Strong academic background and admitted to the California Bar .

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills .

  • Ability to take on significant project responsibility in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated to take ownership of work and career development.
