Standard Concrete Products, Inc. is a progressive and growing manufacturer of prestressed and precast concrete products with three locations in the Southeastern United States.

Standard Concrete Products, a leading producer of Prestressed and Precast concrete products, has a career opportunity for an entry-level Quality Control Tech.

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Tech must have knowledge of concrete manufacturing and inspection of concrete products. The individual will be responsible for inspecting products. This individual will be working to assure quality throughout the manufacturing process, including but not limited to coordinating production bed layouts, overseeing pre-pour and post-pour inspections, and overseeing stressing operations. Individuals must be willing to effectively interface with specifying agencies with internal production and administrative departments. The individual will be responsible for all Mix Designs, and all record keeping to ensure PCI Compliance and oversee all Laboratory and Concrete Testing Activities.

Preferred:

• At least 1 year of experience in prestressed/precast concrete manufacturing
• 1-2 years of experience in quality control
• College degree is recommended but not required

Preferable Training and Certifications:

• PCI Level I, II, and III, ACI Strength Technician, and State DOT Certifications
• Must be willing to obtain certifications
• Must be willing to gain advanced knowledge through Company-Sponsored outside training
