Job Description

Position Summary:
The Quality Control (QC) Manager will lead quality assurance and control efforts to ensure products meet established standards of reliability and performance. This role will involve developing, implementing, and monitoring quality management systems and collaborating closely with production teams to maintain the highest levels of quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of high-quality products.
• Oversee and manage the Quality Control department, ensuring all products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for product or process deficiencies.
• Establish, monitor, and report on quality KPIs; implement strategies to drive continuous improvements.
• Manage internal and external audits; ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, reduce variability, and optimize production efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and supervise QC staff, promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization.
• Prepare and maintain QC reports, process documentation, and quality-related training materials.
• Work with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and maintain supplier quality documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of quality control experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies, including Six Sigma, Lean, and ISO standards.
• Proven experience in quality improvement and process optimization.
• Proficiency in quality testing tools and techniques, such as statistical analysis and control charts.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
• Familiarity with ERP and quality management software.
