HiFyve is hiring for a Quality Assurance Manager in the food/beverage industry in Fort Morgan, CO!

Salary: $100-$115k + 10% bonus eligibility

Benefits: Full benefits package + relocation assistance

Travel: 1-3 times per year

Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift (must have flexibility)

Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager ensures that plant operations meet food safety, quality, customer, and regulatory standards. This leadership role works closely with plant teams to uphold audit readiness, drive performance, and foster a strong quality culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily quality and food safety operations
• Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements (FSMA, HACCP, etc.)
• Maintain Food Safety & Quality Plans, SOPs, and audit documentation
• Oversee lab operations, product testing, and specifications compliance
• Investigate and resolve CAPAs and customer complaints
• Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits
• Monitor sanitation, pest control, and environmental programs
• Train employees and ensure accurate quality-related recordkeeping
• Analyze quality data and support continuous improvement efforts
• Contribute to budget and capital planning
• Provide after-hours support as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA or food safety experience; dairy preferred
• 1+ year in a leadership or management role
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems, lab operations, and audits
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead teams and drive change

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biological Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Certifications

• PCQI
• HACCP
• SQF Practitioner
