Job Title: Media Infrastructure Software Engineer
Location: Redmond WA/Sunnyvale CA/Menlo Park CA
Pay : $60/hr, W2
Background:
Built ingest-to-delivery pipelines at streaming or broadcast‐media companies (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, AWS Media Services), shipping high-volume video processing features in production.
Must-Have Skills:
- Core languages: PHP/Hack, Python, C++
- Media stack: video ingestion and encoding pipelines; hands-on with codecs (AV1, HEVC)
- Build tools & workflows: Git/Mercurial, CMake/Bazel/Buck
Nice-to-Have:
- Previous roles at established media-streaming or content-delivery companies
- Front-end experience with React or similar for media dashboards
- Familiarity with cloud-native media services (e.g. AWS Elemental, Azure Media Services)
