Our fast-growing construction firm is in search of a dynamic and experienced Project Manager specializing in Mechanical/HVAC. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a robust understanding of the construction industry, and a strong background in mechanical/HVAC systems. This role requires a professional who is adept at project management and can effectively coordinate with various teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in using AutoBid Mechanical or equivalent, and who is looking to take their career to the next level in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of mechanical/HVAC projects from inception to completion.
2. Prepare comprehensive project plans and schedules, ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
3. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure project objectives are met.
4. Utilize AutoBid Mechanical to estimate project costs and resources needed.
5. Ensure quality control for all projects, adhering to regulatory standards and safety regulations.
6. Conduct risk management to minimize project risks and develop effective contingency plans.
7. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress.
8. Manage relationships with clients, vendors, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
9. Resolve any project-related issues promptly and professionally.
10. Continuously improve project management processes and practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a project management role in the construction industry, with a focus on mechanical/HVAC systems.
3. Proficiency in AutoBid Mechanical or equivalent software is mandatory.
4. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
5. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, project management principles, and HVAC systems.
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Knowledge of safety and building codes, regulations, and guidelines in the construction industry.
10. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
