Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to coordinate and oversee project work related to Verizon pole backlog and other ongoing projects. This role is part of a larger initiative launching in April/May and involves utility industry project management, budgeting, and process coordination. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans (scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation)
• Lead and manage multiple projects with a budget range of $20M-$25M per project
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business objectives
• Utilize Excel trackers, UPPM, budgeting, forecasting , and oversee budget/schedule/scope
• Manage and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Facilitate meetings, discussions, and project updates to ensure smooth execution
• Ensure compliance with authorization and utility regulatory processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Utility industry experience is mandatory (Construction PMs preferred, NOT IT PMs)
• Experience managing large-scale projects or programs (30-50 projects, $30M-$50M portfolio)
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with senior leadership and stakeholders
• PMP Certification is required (CAPM acceptable for strong candidates)
• Proficiency in Excel, UPPM, budgeting, forecasting, and project tracking tools
