Summary

Responsible for coordinating and managing complex multi-disciplinary utility transmission & substation projects from development through completion. Ensures project completion within the defined scope of work, including cost and schedule, by serving as the primary point of contact. Manages and coordinates the allocation of project resources and workflow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages, coordinates, and monitors multi-disciplinary utility transmission & distribution projects from initiation through delivery and closeout.
• Serves as a liaison between engineering, procurement, and operations business groups in order to meet project requirements and targets.
• Ensures adherence to corporate guidelines for Project Management and Controls.
• Leads project planning and the development of business requirements.
• Manages complex projects involving multiple work streams, including contractors or offshore/remote project teams.
• Develops and maintains a project plan, including cost estimates and project schedule.
• Assembles and leads cross-functional project teams to ensure quality project deliverables.
• Ensures that projects are completed on schedule, within budget and according to project plan.
• Monitors project deliverables and progress through ongoing communication with project members and stakeholders.
• Communicates project risks and works to mitigate risks throughout the project.
• Communicates project status, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
