Position: Estimator

Company Overview: We are a growing construction company with ambitious revenue goals of $14M for 2024 and $17.9M for 2025. We aim to maintain a 20% gross profit margin and increase our win ratio from 7% to at least 10%.

Role Overview: We seek an experienced Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates, maintain profit margins, improve our win ratio, and secure significant revenue. This role will help build our estimating/pre-construction/sales team.

Experience:

• Minimum: 5-7 years in construction estimating or a related field.
• Preferred: 7-10 years, with significant responsibility in cost estimation and budget management.

Location:

• The position can be based in Arkansas, Kansas City, or remote.
• No relocation assistance will be provided.

Interview Process:

1. Screening Interview: A short phone interview focused on the candidate's career goals and background.
2. Who Interview: A comprehensive interview exploring the candidate's entire career history, including successes, failures, key decisions, and lessons learned.
3. Focused Interviews: These interviews focus on specific competencies and outcomes defined in the scorecard.
4. Reference Checks: Conducted to verify past performance and gather additional insights.
5. Final Interview: A discussion to address any remaining questions and ensure alignment with our core values.
