Are you an experienced production supervisor who thrives on the excitement of a bustling manufacturing environment? Are you bilingual with a passion for Lean Manufacturing and Food Production? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent Production Supervisor for our 2nd Shift. This position offers a chance to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced, high-volume food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line during the 2nd shift. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing daily production activities and ensuring they align with the production schedule and quality standards.
2. Implementing Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
3. Ensuring strict adherence to food safety standards and regulations.
4. Training, mentoring, and supervising a multicultural team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
5. Utilizing your bilingual skills to effectively communicate with all team members.
6. Implementing and maintaining 5S workplace organization methodology to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
7. Identifying and resolving any issues that may impact production, including equipment malfunctions, personnel issues, and supply shortages.
8. Collaborating with other supervisors and management to continually improve processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Production Supervisor position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production.
2. Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles.
3. Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
4. Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
5. Experience with 5S or similar workplace organization methodologies.
6. Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and manage a team.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
8. Ability to work the 2nd shift and adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
