Job Title: Power BI Developer Location: Santa Clara, CA 95054 (Onsite) Duration: 12+ mionths - Contract to Hire Pay rate : Market / Flexible We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with experience in migrating from Tableau to Power BI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business intelligence solutions, ensuring a smooth transition from Tableau to Power BI, and providing actionable insights through data visualization. Key Responsibilities Migration Execution: Lead the migration process from Tableau to Power BI, including data source connections, visualization migration, and testing Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Data Integration: Establish and manage data connections, ensuring data integrity and consistency across various sources Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of Power BI Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the migration process, architecture, and best practices Skills & Experience Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Experience with Tableau and its migration to Power BI Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders Experience Range - Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics, with at least 1 year of experience in migrating from Tableau to Power BI Experience with other data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R); Familiarity with data governance and security best practices Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and big data technologies; Relevant certifications in Power BI or other BI tools are a plus Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
