Internal Medicine opening - Whitefield, NH Position Details - Full-time outpatient opportunity - Flexible schedule with 36 patient hours and 4 administrative hours per week - See 16–22 patients per day, primarily adult and elderly populations - No weekend or holiday shifts - May participate in day-time call rotation (no after-hours call) - EMR: Meditech Expanse (with Dragon dictation) - Supported by RN Team Leader and medical assistant - Participate in community health initiatives and quality improvement projects Responsibilities - Perform comprehensive medical care: physicals, diagnostics, and treatment planning - Manage acute and chronic medical conditions - Provide preventive care: wellness visits, immunizations, screenings - Prescribe and adjust medications and treatment plans - Coordinate care with specialists as needed - Educate patients and families on disease prevention and lifestyle changes - Maintain accurate and timely medical records - Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure quality care delivery Qualifications - Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine - Successful completion of ACGME, AOA, or RCPSC accredited residency - ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association - Comfortable managing own patient panel and practicing independently - Experience with chronic disease management preferred - Passion for rural and community-based care Benefits Details - Competitive base salary with potential wRVU productivity and quality bonus - Commencement and retention bonuses - Relocation assistance - 5 weeks vacation + 5 days sick time - 1 week CME time and $4,000 CME allowance - Full benefits package: health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance - Retirement plans: 403(b) and 457(b) - Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Community Details - Located in northern New Hampshire, offering a relaxed lifestyle and breathtaking scenery - Enjoy hiking, skiing, fishing, and year-round outdoor activities - Supportive and tight-knit rural community - No sales or state income tax in New Hampshire About the Health System Regional network of three critical access hospitals and home health and hospice services.
