Salary: $19.23-$21.63

In this role, you would align your passion for people, and your genius for communication, empathy, and problem-solving, to provide an outstanding patient experience. You'll be working with patients and providers to resolve questions, balances, and billing challenges and help craft strategies to elevate the patient experience throughout the entire revenue cycle.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Serve as the voice of the patient by sharing insights and feedback from patients to the client, and internal Wayfinder teams, to improve patient experience

  • Collaborate with other teammates and clients to support the patient revenue cycle and optimize internal processes
  • Manage, track, and report patient soft collection activities including initiating courtesy calls to patients regarding outstanding balances
  • Maintain relationships with clients and third party partners
  • Review and process patient statements accurately
  • Answer incoming patient and client calls and provide empathetic and insightful support and solutions for patients

  • Resolve patient questions and inquiries
  • Process patient credit card transactions using multiple processing terminals

  • Ability to confidently manage a high volume of phone calls
  • Ability to articulate information and solutions in an easy to understand language to patients

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of one year working in medical billing. Patient accounts receivable and answering incoming phone calls experience is preferred, but not required
  • Strong computer skills, comfortable with new technology
