Basil Place | Northeast Ohio

Basil Place, one of the fastest-growing event centers in Northeast Ohio , is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of our venue throughout our event season.

This role focuses on housekeeping, laundry, restocking, and venue readiness before and after events.

Position Details

• Hours: Approximately 20–30 hours per week (hours may vary week to week)
• Availability: Must also be available for weekends
• Compensation: Competitive hourly pay
• Benefits: None (part-time, seasonal role)

Key Responsibilities

• Housekeeping of event spaces, restrooms, bridal suites, and common areas
• Laundry management (linens, towels, and related items)
• Restocking of supplies (paper goods, soaps, amenities, event necessities)
• Resetting spaces to venue standards before and after weddings and events
• Monitoring cleanliness, inventory levels, and overall presentation
• Reporting maintenance needs or supply shortages
• Working independently while coordinating with the event and operations team

Ideal Candidate

• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards
• Comfortable with physical tasks and a dynamic, event-driven environment
• Hospitality or housekeeping experience preferred (but not required)
