MG+M The Law Firm (MG+M) has an immediate opening in our O’Fallon, IL office for a Paralegal Administrative Assistant.

MG+M is a nationally renowned litigation law firm concentrating on complex civil matters. The firm's expertise is diverse but focused in the areas of toxic tort, complex product liability, local government, general liability, and commercial litigation. We approach litigation as a unified team, integrating our efforts with those of our clients to advance their interests wherever they do business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to paralegals/legal administrative assistants.
  • Code and distribute daily office wide legal memos.
  • Review filing sites and pull pertinent case documents.
  • Assist with document organization and projects.
  • Receive, scan and distribute mail.
  • Schedule attorneys for depositions.
  • Order and track depositions transcripts.
  • Handle additional miscellaneous projects, as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of high school diploma required. Law firm experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Attendance & Punctuality: Consistently arrive at work and meetings on time; ensure responsibilities are covered when absent.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with attorneys, other paralegals, and legal administrative assistants.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Customer service: Respond promptly to attorney and client requests for service and assistance; meet commitments.
  • Dependability: Follow instructions, complete tasks on time, work independently, and commit to the hours necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork: Contribute to building a positive team spirit and support the success of colleagues.
