Urgently hiring for warehouse associates in Calera, AL! This is a temp to perm position after 90 days with potential for growth and opportunity! No experience needed, must be trustworthy, dependable and posess the ability to learn quickly!

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented professional packer to join our team.

The role requires you to prepare and package products for delivery to our customers.

The responsibilities include ensuring items are packed accurately according to the packing list, and in a manner that prevents damage during transit.

Ideal candidates should have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and have experience in handling different types of packing materials or willingness to learn!

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply packing instructions and packing lists
• Inspect and prepare products for shipment, including assembling, addressing, stamping, and arranging for the shipment of products
• Ensure that all items are properly packed, sealed, and labeled
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, and space availability
• Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Report any damaged or missing items to the supervisor

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environment
• Proficient reading skills to understand packing instructions and lists
• Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting and moving heavy items
• Excellent attention to detail
• Drug Free
• Clean criminal background
