Clairmont Place is a retirement community in the Druid Hills area. We are comprised of condos of independent living residents and an assisted living. We are a tight-knit, supportive, caring place to work. This position is for a part time courtesy officer.

The shift is 11pm to 7am on Friday and Saturday night. Other shifts may be available on an as-needed basis. The primary role of all Clairmont Place employees is resident support. We want to make sure our residents enjoy a graceful, happy, fun and joyful life.

Courtesy officers are on-duty after hours to assist in emergency situations such as lockouts, after-hours escorts of staff and residents to and from the residential building if warranted, and directing of emergency vehicles to both buildings. The courtesy officer patrols the buildings and grounds, answers phone and two-way radio calls for resident support, supports residents in letting visitors into the building, assists residents during emergency situations and provides a helpful, courteous response to resident and family questions.

Courtesy officers are trained to handle building and resident emergencies and how to respond in the case of resident injury, fire, water intrusion issues and leaks, power outages and environmental and weather problems.

The right candidate will have a helpful attitude, good communication skills and a professional demeaner. You must operate with integrity, kindness and respect. You must be reliable for all shifts.

The officers are supervised by a coworker in a full time officer position and by the Operations Director. This position is part time and does not qualify for benefits.

Requirements

Requirements:

• All hires are required to be fully vaccinated and must pass a background and drug screen
• One year previous experience in a security role; customer service experience is required
