Job Description

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class AZ Roll-Off/End Dump Driver to join their safety conscious team in Bakersfield, CA! This route runs from  Bakersfield throughout the Western US based on ongoing projects and averages 2800 miles per week.

About the role:

• Drivers average $70-$105K per year
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available
• Bi-Weekly home time
• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies & processes and acting in a safe manner at all time
• Picks up waste from customer locations utilizing roll-off and/or end dumps units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Guarantees placarding of vehicle to meet Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

• Class AZ CDL required
• 12+ months Class AZ experience
• TDG endorsement
• Ability to drive a manual transmission (10, 13, 18 speed) required
• Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
• Valid Canadian Passport (preferred)
• Valid Canadian Fastcard (preferred)
