Orthopedic Technician, Sports Medicine

Summary:
Assists physicians in all aspects of office care. Assists in procedure and general maintenance of equipment, supplies and exam rooms.

Formal Education Required:
a. High school diploma or equivalent
b. Orthopedic Technologist Certification preferred


Experience and Training Required:
a. One year orthopedic experience in lieu of Orthopedic Technologist Certification

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
b. Knowledge of medical terminology
c. Basic computer skill
d. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity

$21.33/hr - $25.60/hr
The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers.
