Job Title: Order Picker/Packer
Job Description

As an Order Selector, you will play a critical role in our daily operations by ensuring the materials within the warehouse are handled efficiently and in an organized manner. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and maintaining products while working in a safe and orderly manner. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Work is done in a refrigerated environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to manage inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and real-time visibility.
• Collaborate with packaging and production teams to provide materials needed for production.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts of inventory using mobile scan devices.
• Document and report any discrepancies found within the inventory system.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanner.
• Ability to use computers to access WMS.
• Experience with RF scan guns.
• Ability to pick products and build orders.
• General labor and inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in picking, RF scanning, and labeling.
• Experience in warehouse production and inventory management.

Work Environment

This is a food manufacturing facility that follows strict GMP guidelines. No jewelry or make-up is allowed. The order selector will be working in a 40-degree refrigerated environment all day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Piscataway, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
