Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Communicates verbally with Guests, Team Members, and Management
• Assists the Rides Management team with downtime reports
• Responds to requests for assistance throughout the property with a safe sense of urgency
• Protects the assets and property of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and its Guests
• Assists the Rides Department in promoting the Total Safety Atmosphere
• Enforces the rules and policies of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
• Responsible for communicating issues that arise to the proper park personnel
• Responsible for logging all pertinent information to ride related calls and incidents that may arise
• Enforcing all Six Flags Discovery Kingdom policies
• Performing other duties as assigned or necessary to support Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

Skills and Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be available to work a minimum of 35 hours per week during full time operations (June/July/August)
• Must appear professional at all times
• Must be able to accurately track and log all necessary information
• Must be able to remain calm in all types of stressful situations
• Must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
• Previous Security/Law Enforcement/Military/Dispatching experience or education preferred
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
