The ideal candidate will have experience in the Oncology setting and in Infusion Services. The Oncology and Infusion Services Clinic Registered Nurse RN Manager will report directly to the Pharmacy and Oncology Director. This person will be supported by multiple seasoned Oncology RNs, all working together to provide comprehensive care to this specific population of patients. This well developed Cancer Center consists of state of the art technology, servicing a 10+ bed rural hospital as well as patients being treated for their cancer in an outpatient setting. The Oncology and Infusion Services Clinic Registered Nurse RN Manager will join a department that is known for excellent patient care and playing a significant role in quality and treatment. The Oncology and Infusion Services Clinic Registered Nurse RN Manager will be in charge of overseeing that ambulatory oncology care provided by nurses is efficient and thorough. This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the Oncology Service Line Director and physicians to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital’s standards and values. The Oncology Infusion Center Nurse Manager will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.
