Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• First assist in C-sections and surgical GYN cases
• Occasional rounding on inpatients on an as-needed basis

• Clinical examinations

• Assess, diagnose and when necessary, refer patients

• Follow-up care
• Monitor therapies and provide continuity of care to patients
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the practice

• 1-3 years of Women's Health PA experience
• Experience as a surgical first assist, or willingness to learn
• PA certification from accredited program
• California licensure (or ability to obtain by start date)
• Excellent clinical skills and a strong commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for providing care to a diverse patient population.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as a member of a team with a high degree of autonomy
